"Your words are born, not spoken.
Dimensional, soft-vowelled words, paplable to the eye or to the fingertip: exquisitely curved, as the young that floweres conceive.
Often have I watched your lips shape words...and your tongue nudge them out like small birds not wholly certain of their wings.
Your sweetest words
are those shaped ovally, like plums or wild birds' eggs."
Love, though troublesome and often destructive, is one of the most important aspects of our lives. Through this passage, it is seen that such small movements have a major effect on the emotions and senses of the viewer. It can be so important that one loves the way his or her lover talks and expresses themselves. Sometimes, the words of another show what your mind cannot put into words. This passage illustrates that fact to me.

wow those are really gorgeous words. i havent read anything by walter benton before, i might have to go check it out now. "your sweetest words are those shaped ovally, like plums or wild birds' eggs" it just flows so wonderfully and sounds soo delicate when you say it.
i think when you love someone or are infactuated by them or whatever the words they say take on this higher meaning and you place so much weight upon what they say. like you said manymany, it is important to love how eachother expresses themselves, i guess cause communication is so integral to connection between people, and not just verbally but visually, though looks and movement. when you love someone you take everything in about them, when they speak, you soak each syllabel and sound into you, every word is special and you look for meaning in them and your eyes take in every detail of their face. is that the same for everyone else?
i think love makes you do silly and crazy things, but we all knew that. i think there isnt much anyone wouldnt give for perfect love, the pure equal giving and recieving of it. how lovely.
this is such a soppy topic. kind of strangely depressing haha.
oh well its love all round really. even marriage proposals! awesome.
